Assessing the Army's future capabilities
Development of future defence concepts. Telaugos have led, designed experiments, and conducted operational analysis in support of a series of projects, conducted through Niteworks, which provide evidence to support decisions on the future shape of the armed forces.
Experimentation. The Urban Warrior series of experiments provided evidence to support decisions concerning the future training, equipment, and doctrine appropriate to Infantry operations in challenging environments. Niteworks conducted the Urban Warrior live and virtual experiments; Telaugos provided support to both, and led the design of the virtual simulation experiment which engaged some 200 players in a set of real-time virtual scenarios - the largest experiment of its type so far conducted in the UK.
Thought leadership. Telaugos lead, consult, and provide expert facilitation skills in a series of projects which address information superiority in contingent operations; this year will see the delivery and/or coordination of a variety of experimentation activities. Initially these will develop a Brigade C4ISTAR CONEMP which in turn will underpin further experimentation activity in a flagship experimentation event.
Observation, Modelling and Analysis. Telaugos provide analytic support to develop and enrich the Concept of Use for a future Lead Armoured Task Force, developing models derived from observation of Army training events in order to test and validate assumptions and de-risk anticipated issues.
